See and secure the risks in your cloud workspace today.

Today we're launching a free trial of Material Security: get full visibility into the risks and threats across email, identities, and data in your cloud workspace, and see how easy it is to remediate them with Material.

Why we're doing this now

Most organizations have a reasonable sense of their security posture. They know what controls they're running, what's covered, what the gaps probably are. What they don't have is a precise picture of what's actually going on in their Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment right now: what OAuth apps are connected or what they’re actually doing, where sensitive data is exposed, and which accounts carry the most risk if something goes wrong.

That's not a policy problem. It's a visibility problem. And the fastest way to solve it is to look.

What it is

It's a self-contained evaluation of your comprehensive workspace security posture. Not a sandbox. Not curated screenshots. Material connects to your real environment, ingests 30 days of historical data across email, files, and accounts, and surfaces what's actually there.

When you sign up, our team spins up an instance for your organization within two business days. You authenticate by granting Material access to your workspace and the platform gets to work. By default, the trial is read-only: nothing changes in your environment without your explicit action. If you want to test automated remediations, you can enable them.

Once ingestion is complete, we walk you through the findings together: what Material detected, where the exposure is, and what the platform would do about it. After that session, you have seven days to explore on your own terms.

How it works

When you sign up, our team will spin up an instance and send you a unique authentication link. Once connected, it takes a day or two for the platform to populate and analyze your data. Once that's complete, you'll meet with one of our engineers to review the initial findings, get a tour of the platform, and finalize any important setup or configuration steps.

What you'll see

The full Material platform is included in the trial:

Email threat analysis. Detection of threats that made it past your existing controls, analyzed across 30 days of historical mail. If something got through, this is where you'll see it.

Sensitive data protection. An inventory of sensitive content across email and Drive, with context on how it's exposed and who can reach it.

Identity and blast radius analysis. Account-level risk visibility based on access levels, authentication posture, and sensitive data exposure. The blast radius view shows concretely what an attacker could reach if any given account was compromised.

OAuth posture and risk. Powered by our OAuth Threat Remediation Agent, this gives you a complete picture of every third-party and AI app connected to your workspace — what they have access to, what they're actually doing, and which ones represent real risk. Most organizations have granted far more OAuth access than they realize, and most of it has never been reviewed.

Get started

Head to Try Material to request a trial, and our team will get your instance set up.

If you have questions before signing up, reach out directly. We're happy to talk through what the trial covers and whether it's the right next step.
